PTIT 1964 - Perguruan Tinggi Ilmu Tekstil

The rapid development of the textile industry encourages the need to prepare human resources in the fields of research and education. On November 10, 1964, the Bakaloreat Tekstil program was developed into a bachelor’s program. This program is managed under Perguruan Tinggi Ilmu Pertekstilan (PTIT) led by Ir. Soegito Moeljowijadi at the same time changed the name of Akademi Pertekstilan. Through the Decree of the Minister of Textile Industry and People’s Crafts Number: 104/M/SK/1966 dated November 4, 1966, the PTIT graduate’s degree was changed to Sarjana Tekstil (S.Teks.).
