Politeknik STTT 2015 - Polytechnic STTT Bandung

In line with the arrangement of the form of higher education under the non-Ministry of Education and Culture, according to the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 12 of 2012 concerning Higher Education, in Part Three, Article 16 concerning Vocational Education, it is explained that vocational education is a higher education diploma program that prepares students for jobs with certain applied skills up to an applied bachelor’s program, and can be developed by the government to an applied master’s program or an applied doctoral program.

After approximately 37 years, STT Tekstil finally changed to Polytechnic STTT Bandung. The operating permit is stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 497/E/O/2014 dated October 13, 2014 for Diploma IV Textile Engineering, Diploma IV Textile Chemistry, Diploma IV Garment Production and Diploma IV Garment Production Concentration in Fashion Design.

Polytechnic STTT Bandung is a realignment of the organization and work procedures of the vocational higher education unit within the Ministry of Industry for the change in the nomenclature of the Textile Technology College which is stipulated by the Regulation of the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia No. 02/M-IND/PER/2015 dated January 5, 2015. With this change, graduates of the Diploma IV Study Program Polytechnic STTT Bandung obtained a Sarjana Terapan Sains (S.Tr.Si) for the Diploma IV Study Program of Textile Chemistry, Sarjana Terapan Teknik ( S.Tr.T.) for the Diploma IV Study Program in Textile Engineering, and the Sarjana Terapan Bisnis (S.Tr.Bns.) for the Diploma IV Study Program in Garment Production.
